Canada geese are big travelers and hardy birds. You can find them in all sorts of climates. They also happen to like suburbs, farmland and agricultural fields. Wide grassy spaces with lakes and marshes nearby are ideal for grazing and nesting.
While they won’t typically go inside your home, they will definitely damage your gardens and crops through constant grazing, and contaminate bodies of water and public walkways with their droppings. They also have a habit of ruining playing fields and parks, making outdoor sports a health hazard.
